Well firstly, take a big deep breathe in... and now blow it out!

01

Get Some Rest

-

Ensure you and little ones are well rested, this means that everyone can be on top form and you feel much more positive and enjoy the experience. A photo-session isn't a chore just to get that one photograph, it's a beautiful experience of having fun and bonding with one another while the photographer captures all the treasuring moments.

02

Have Fun!

-

Sometimes the best images are the ones where you are just connecting with each other or being silly, like you normally would!

So leave any stress at the door on entry and put your silly cap on!

This is your time, to capture beautiful images of your family, so just be you.

03

Make sure you've eaten and drank water!

-

This is both for your mind and body for everyone in the family. I always recommend coming to a session after lunch time for little ones because it means bellies are full and they're happy!

It is truly amazing what one glass of water can do for you, it just livens you up and makes you feel rejoiced.

04

NO LOGOS, PATTERNS OR BRIGHT COLOURS

-

You'd be surprised how much a single piece of clothing can make a difference to your images. When you look back in years to come you want to focus on the people in the photograph, not the 'wrong choice of t-shirt' that day.

For this session, I highly highly recommend all models to wear a white tee and denim jeans, especially sibling shoots to wear matching plain white tee's and denim jeans. Or chose neutral colors with soft, flowing fabrics…. think very soft pastels, oatmeals, light browns, tans, grays, and slate blues.

Simplistic is often the most beautiful.

I hope this helps!
