Where are you based?

I am based in South East Belfast, in Northern Ireland, just 20 minutes walk from the city centre! If you are further away than this, I’m happy to travel, so do get in touch to discuss!

Do you have a studio?

I do indeed. I have a studio at Ravenhill Avenue that has an ample amount of props and designs for a variety of photoshoots! However I do also use the outdoors for a studio too! In the outdoors you and your children can have more freedom and less limitations on staying in one particular area for the shoot. Whenever possible, when the light is most glorious, in the morning just after sunrise or in the late afternoon/evening just before sunset.

How do I book a session with you?

Firstly browse through my website to view the style of images you will receive. If you like what you see you can send me a message using the enquiry form, or you can contact me on 07881104588 / jadeeaton@Live.co.uk where we can have an informal chat to discuss your needs. Newborn sessions ideally should take place within the first 2 weeks of their lives. Please book during pregnancy to avoid disappointment.

How long does the session last?

The session will last approx 1 hour. However I do not clock watch and will only finish the shoot once I am certain I have the images I need. I am guided by your children and will take breaks as and when required. Newborn sessions can be a little longer and can last up to 3 hours. We do not rush these sessions and go with the flow of your baby, feeding and soothing as we go along.

What happens if my children misbehave during the session?

I ask all parents not to worry or be anxious about their children on the photo-shoot. This is also because your anxiousness brushes onto them and doesn't make the whole ordeal pleasant. I am relaxed and confident in working with your children. If one of your children is not co-operating I may try multiple different techniques, or suggest for them to take a little break away from the camera while I photograph other members of the family! Many times, without parents looking on, children are remarkably well behaved and co-operative!

When will we see our images?

Approximately 2 weeks after your photoshoots we will conduct a viewing and ordering session at the studio.

Here is a chance to sit down and relax, and I will present your images in a slideshow for you to watch and together we will decide how you would like to display your images. Samples of all products are available during the viewing and ordering appointment.

I will show you from around 20 beautiful edited and retouched images which will be a mixture of posed and natural images. There is no hard sell and you are free to order only what you absolutely LOVE!
